Meet Giacomo Giacomo is a dopey, lovable goofball who is basically a puppy trapped in an adult dog’s body! He has plenty of playful puppy energy and would love a home with a secure yard where he can explore, romp, and burn off some of that enthusiasm. This sweet boy loves being close to his person and is happiest when he can be your little shadow. He walks well on a leash and is friendly when people approach him. Giacomo is the kind of dog who will keep you smiling with his silly personality and playful antics. While Giacomo has a lot of love to give, he can be easily spooked by unfamiliar things and situations. He’ll need a patient person who can help him build confidence, experience new things at his own pace, and learn that the world isn’t so scary. With gentle guidance, positive experiences, and plenty of encouragement, Giacomo has so much potential to blossom into a confident companion. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate, playful dog who wants to be by your side, and you’re willing to help him discover his confidence, Giacomo might be your guy! PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states. Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file. For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters. Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Each pet is spayed/neutered, receives age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, heartworm test (6 months and older) microchipped and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate.
