Meet Ginger

Meet Ginger! Ginger is a 3-year-old mixed breed with a gentle heart and a quiet spirit. She came from a very difficult backyard situation, so the world is still a little new and scary to her—but every day she’s learning that people can be kind and life can be good. One thing Ginger knows for sure is that she loves other dogs. She’s almost always cuddled up with one of her friends, whether it’s Brandy and Susie, her favorite snuggle buddies, or Panda, who keeps her entertained during playtime. And according to her foster friends, she may even have a little crush on Angus. Because she gains confidence from other dogs, Ginger would do best in a home with a friendly canine companion who can help show her the ropes and teach her what life as a loved indoor dog is all about. She’s a medium-sized girl at around 40 pounds and is still shy with people, but she’s making progress and especially enjoys treats from the volunteers who spend time with her. Ginger is looking for a patient, understanding family willing to give her the time and love she needs to truly blossom. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and current with all vaccines (as appropriate for her age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Ginger is currently being fostered in South Carolina.
