Meet Gunner! Gunner is a sweet 5-year-old boy weighing in at 25 pounds, and he’s the perfect combination of gentle, easygoing, and adventurous. At heart, Gunner is a true couch potato who loves relaxing and being comfortable with his people. But don’t let his love of lounging fool you—he also enjoys going for walks, exploring the outdoors, and taking in all the wonderful new smells the world has to offer! When Gunner first gets on a leash, he likes to walk like a beagle, following his nose and investigating everything around him. Once he settles in, though, he becomes a much more relaxed walking companion. Gunner would do best in a moderately active household where he can enjoy a nice balance of relaxing at home and getting out for walks and adventures. He is both crate trained and potty trained, making him a wonderful addition to his future family. Most importantly, Gunner is a gentle and loving boy who is good with everyone, including children and his foster brothers. He has a sweet personality and would love nothing more than to find a family where he can be loved, spoiled, and included in all the best parts of life. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee. Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
