Meet Gus

Meet Gus! Sweet Gus is a 7-8 month Chihuahua mix pup and weighs around 8-9 lbs. Gus is a very playful puppy who has blossomed as he has come out of his shell. He is timid around new people and needs a little time to warm up. He would do great with another dog who can show him the ropes. He is house trained and sleeps through the night but does occasionally mark - this should be improved once he is neutered (he is scheduled for this). He loves toys and treats but people are his favorite and he will be your little shadow around the house. He is crate trained and we have left him alone 4-5 hours with no issues. He can guard high value treats like bones but does not show this behavior with treats of lower value. He will do best in a home with older kids (over 12) for this reason. He is wary of loud or unfamiliar noises and will sometimes bark at them so he would do best in a home or townhome. Gus will be vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $525
