Meet Gus

Gus is a stray puppy from Elmo, Montana, who was found on a porch and fed by good Samaritans before landing in foster care. At about 20 lbs, he's still a baby, with baby teeth, baby-soft fur, and that irresistible puppy smell. He's a true velcro pup. He loves being right beside his people and will make sure you know if you've wandered too far. He's happiest outdoors, ideally with his person right there too. He's a little shy at first, but he's very quick to trust. He's been showing his belly since early in his foster home. Fair warning: he's not shy about going in for the kiss on the first date. Gus is a BIG fan of his resident foster sister and all the neighborhood dogs. He hasn't been tested with cats, but all signs point to Gus not having a mean bone in his body. His foster mom was surprised to find he can already sort of sit on command. Maybe he's a wonderkind , or maybe he's had a home before. Either way, Gus is going to make someone very, very happy.
