Meet Hank

#A5800487 Meet Hank, a gorgeous 4-year-old German Shepherd boy with a stunning red-gold coat accented by inky black, a lean and powerful build, and a perfectly fluffy softness that is just begging for cuddles! Like his canine companion Lucy (#A5800486), Hank much prefers the company of people over most pups, but that simply means this handsome boy is incredibly devoted and loyal, happiest when he can stick close to your side and experience life right alongside you. He’s smart, motivated, and clearly knows a thing or two - our volunteer even watched him perform a “figure eight” through their legs, a common agility trick! With some investment of time, patience, and plenty of yummy snackies, Hank seems like the kind of whip-smart boy who could learn so much more. If you love big-hearted, clever Shepherds who want to be your faithful sidekick, Hank just might be the perfect addition to your family! ❤️ -4 year old tan and black German Shepherd -85 pound neutered male - despite his size, he is really responsive and easy to handle! -may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 9/11/26 as an owner surrender - the said they had “no time” for darling Hank, but he is so low maintenance, just needs some attention and exercise! We’re hoping someone will give him all the time he deserves -very people oriented and eager to please - will show off his smarts if it’ll get your attention! -excellent candidate for additional training, especially agility work - came in with canine companion Lucy (#A5800486) -motivated, smart, and loving - will make an endlessly loyal companion to whoever takes him home!
