I have my PhD in Snuggling! I’m a sweet pup who may take a minute to warm up, but once I do, I’ll steal your heart! My foster mom says I look a lot like a little Dachshund, and at 6 pounds at 10 weeks old , I may grow into a medium-sized girl. I’ve already mastered the stairs (not bad for these short little legs!) . I’m also an excellent coworker. I’ll happily sit nearby and stare at you with my irresistible puppy-dog eyes. I’m learning my commands—including “sit,” “come,” and “go potty.” I sleep nicely at night with my littermate, too. I’ve enjoyed meeting dogs of all sizes—even though the dogs in my foster home are about 70 pounds bigger than me! They haven’t quite figured out how to play with a tiny pup like me yet, but that certainly hasn’t stopped me from trying. Like any young pup, I’m still learning and will need continued training. For my first few months, I’d do best in a home where someone isn’t gone for more than about 4 hours at a time while I continue learning and growing. A fenced-in yard would be a wonderful bonus! Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
