Meet Henry

Hi! My name is Henry and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and taken to the local shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was in danger of being placed on something bad called "the list". Fortunately for me, my plight came to the attention of BCAA who said they would help me and got me sprung from that place ... yeah! I am about a year old and weigh a little over 50lbs. I look like a terrier mix with my wire-haired coat (maybe some type of doodle?), but my foster mom says that's not really important 'cause I'm just one handsome dude. I really enjoy getting attention, especially when treats are involved, and while I realize I'm a little too big to be a lap dog I like to stay close to you (I can be somewhat of a leaner). I have gotten along with the other dogs I've met, but I have started showing a little too much attention to the cats as they look like they would be fun to play with so a home without them would be best. I have done well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of my bedding, but I will let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you as I would really prefer to be out with you. I will pull some on my leash when I first go out in my excitement of going on an adventure, and then I get better.
