Est. DOB 8/19/25, wt. 58 lbs Meet Hershey! Hershey is a beautiful young American Staffordshire Terrier girl with a big smile, a big heart, and a whole lot of personality! She is incredibly sweet, smart, playful, and loyal—and she is ready to be someone’s best friend. Hershey is an affectionate and loyal girl who loves being close to her person. She wants to be part of the action, whether that means playing, running around, showing off her toys, or simply hanging out with the person she loves. Hershey is SMART! She knows commands including sit, stay, come here, shake, “get your bone,” and “get your toy.” She loves to play, play-wrestle, run (and she is FAST!), and have a blast with her favorite stuffed toys. She is also housetrained. When Hershey first came to us, she was very nervous, and it appeared that she may have been dumped. But as soon as she realized she was safe, her personality quickly came shining through. And what a personality it is! Because of what appears to be some trauma in her past, we do have concerns about Hershey living with other animals or being around children, so she would do best in a home where those things aren't part of the picture. We think she deserves a person who can give her the attention, structure, and love she clearly craves. Hershey is such a beautiful, intelligent, fun, and playful girl. She has an amazing smile, a goofy side, and so much love to give. Her rough start doesn't define her—the happy, silly, loving dog she is today does.
