This adorable young Pit Bull mix came to the shelter with her brother, Chino, after their family realized they had more dogs than they couldproperly care for. They wanted Honey to have the chance at the happy,adventure-filled life she deserves. Honey may make quite the first impression by bouncing around her kennel likeshe`s had three cups of espresso, but don`t be fooled! Give her a fewminutes outside, and she quickly settles into a much calmer, affectionatecompanion. She`s still a young girl with plenty to learn, so she`ll benefitfrom basic training and someone willing to help her channel that enthusiasm. Once Honey warms up, she`s all about her people. She can be a little shywith new situations, but before long she`s leaning into your legs for pets,trying to climb into your lap (completely convinced she`s the perfect lapdog), and happily following you around like your newest four-legged shadow. If you`re looking for a Velcro dog, Honey has the rsum. She`s playful, too! Honey loves chasing balls and toys, already knows sit,and takes treats gently. Her previous owners also shared that she`shousebroken, loves riding in the car, is friendly with adults and children,and has an adorable habit of offering you her paw. Her only complaint? Shereally doesn`t enjoy being left alone. Honey is looking for someone who sees past the puppy wiggles and recognizesthe loyal, loving best friend underneath.
