Meet Hyde

A FUN LITTLE PAL: Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 15 lbs. Hi, I'm Hyde! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me. Now I hear that I'm ready to find a wonderful family of my very own—where I can love and be loved furever! I hope to meet them very soon! I've gone into a wonderful foster home and am having great time, just counting down the days until I'm adopted! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I came in with another dog, and I've met new dogs at Mostly Mutts, and though I wasn't quite ready to play with them, I also didn't show any aggression, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! In my foster home, I try to get the female dogs that live across the fence to notice me—after all, I'm quite the handsome little dude. / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a wonderful, sweet boy with lots of personality packed into one adorable package! I'm gentle, affectionate, and social, and I love being close to people—being held is especially nice! My foster says that I'm "the best-behaved dog she has ever fostered (in 20 years!)", that's saying something! I may be a tad timid at first while I'm getting used to new things, but I quickly show my sweet and loving side. I was super calm and wonderful for my bath, earning the title of "little Angel" from the volunteers. I'm also a little talkative and gave some adorable howls during my photo shoot, along with the cutest head tilts that are sure to make you smile! I'm so happy when my foster returns home that I leap for joy! I'm truly the sweetest boy with lots of love and charm to share. / Energy level: 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the 'sit' and 'leave it' commands as well as how to accept friendly strangers without jumping on them and I walk nicely on my leash too! Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I did well in my crate at Mostly Mutts though I would not want to spend a lot of time in it. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule and are good in my foster home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love being held and spending time close to my foster and even cuddling next to the guests that come to visit us! Walks when it's a little cooler in the day are very enjoyable and I've been respectful of the people I meet on my walks, both the humans and the other dogs. Exploring my foster's fenced backyard is also fun! / Other than too much alone time, I can't think of any other dislikes though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I'm getting medicated baths twice weekly for a little longer to help the skin and fur around my tail. This can easily be done in my new home and I'm such a good boy for them! I'm a nice little guy looking for a nice family to love and be loved by! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
