This handsome 1-year-old Black & Tan Coonhound is a medium-sized (57 lb) sweetheart who brings the perfect blend of playful energy, affectionate charm, and goofy hound personality. Jack Jack is dog-friendly and absolutely loves playing and running around with his canine friends. He'd be thrilled to have another playful dog in his forever home. He's also wonderful with kids--gentle, sweet, and always happy to soak up attention and affection from his people! This beautiful boy is also friendly with cats, which is a wonderful bonus for families with feline friends. This sweet pup has successfully completed a professional board-and-train program at Rucker Dog Trainer, where he learned excellent manners, solid obedience, and the skills to be a well-rounded companion. He's incredibly smart, knows his commands, and even has plenty of fun tricks up his sleeve! He also walks beautifully on a leash, making strolls with this handsome boy an absolute pleasure. Like many hounds, Jack Jack is driven by his nose and enjoys following interesting scents. When he's not busy exploring, he enjoys playing fetch, running around in a securely fenced yard, and rolling over for belly rubs. He has a medium energy level and is happy to balance playtime with plenty of cuddles and time with his people. This wonderful boy is crate trained and house trained. He loves being around his people, so, like many shelter dogs, he may experience some separation anxiety at first. With a little time, patience, and the opportunity to decompress, he settles in and learns to relax and enjoy his new surroundings. Jack Jack would love a nice fenced-in backyard where he can safely stretch his legs and enjoy some outdoor time. A family who enjoys walking, exploring, or even hiking would be a wonderful match for him. This loving and loyal dog is looking for a family, who will embrace his playful spirit, appreciate his goofy personality, and give him the companionship he craves. In return, he'll reward you with endless love, laughter, belly rubs, and plenty of happy hound adventures. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
