Meet Jasper

Jasper is a 4.5-year-old Pit/Lab mix who is still searching for the forever home he can truly call his own. He first arrived in rescue in December 2023 and was lucky enough to spend a year in an adoptive home before being returned due to separation anxiety. Through it all, Jasper is still hoping someone will give him the chance he deserves. Jasper is a special guy who needs a home that understands his unique needs. He is selective about his canine friends and would do best as the only pet in the home. He also needs a quiet, low-traffic environment without visitors, where he can feel secure and comfortable in his surroundings. Jasper will need a committed adopter who is willing to work with his separation anxiety, provide structure and consistency, and help him feel safe when life gets overwhelming. He may not be the right fit for every home, but for the right person, he could be a deeply rewarding companion. Jasper has already experienced the heartbreak of losing a home once. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
