Meet Jiminy

Even Disney Studios would have a hard time creating pups as sweet and adorable as Jiminy and Cricket, who sport white stripes down their brows and polka dot black and white coats that will bring a smile to all fashionable folks. Jiminy and his sibling are 8-month-old Labrador/hound mixes who were found as strays and rescued by a good citizen. Jiminy weighs 30 pounds and is estimated to be a medium sized dog (31-60 pounds) when he is fully grown. He has plenty of spirit for play once he gets over a bit of initial shyness. He is a higher energy pup, is super sociable and friendly. Dogs and children make great companions for Jiminy since he enjoys being part of a play group. It is not known if Jiminy enjoys the company of cats. Jiminy is learning all about good leash walking skills and has made some great progress and continues to do so. He has already learned and mastered his house and crate training. Although Jiminy is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while he transitions into a new home environment. We will never know how Jiminy ended up on his own, but he is ready to have a happy ending to his mysterious story when he lands in a loving forever home and family with hugs and cuddles to spare. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine.
