Meet Jolene

Jolene – Sweet, Gentle, and Thoughtful Jolene is a 4-month-old, 25-pound Dutch Shepherd mix with a sweet, gentle personality. Sweet & Gentle: Jolene is gentle and affectionate with people she knows. She is comfortable being carried and handled and enjoys the reassurance of trusted humans. Growing Confidence: Jolene warms up slowly to both new people and dogs. She has done nicely with small or gentle dogs in her foster home. Potty Training: Jolene is learning her house manners and can use a doggie door. She prefers some privacy when going potty and is most comfortable relieving herself in the backyard when people are at least 10 feet away. Puppy Skills: Jolene is not yet crate trained and may protest confinement. She is also quite the little escape artist and can jump over baby gates and other short barriers. Jolene has low-to-medium energy so far and will thrive with patient people who can help her build confidence and continue her puppy training.
