Meet Katie — A Loving Lab Who Deserves a Family of Her Own! Beautiful Katie is a Labrador Retriever with a heart as big as her smile. This sweet girl was found as a stray in Georgia, pregnant, outside, starving, and without access to food. Thankfully, she made her way to a shelter where kind people cared for her while she had her puppies and raised them. Once her babies were ready, Katie's journey continued to rescue—and Fancy Cats & Dogs Rescue Team was lucky enough to become part of her story. Now it's Katie's turn to be someone's baby. Katie is a sweet, friendly, affectionate girl who absolutely loves people. She's the kind of dog who would happily curl up beside you—or right on your lap if you'll let her! After spending so much of her life taking care of others, she's ready for someone to spoil her with the love and attention she deserves. Katie has been a wonderful mom to her puppies, and her gentle nature makes us think she would do well with other calm, friendly dogs. She also seems to be fine with cats and should be a wonderful companion for a family with children. Katie enjoys getting out for walks and walks nicely on a leash. She'd love having a family who will take her on leisurely walks, then come home and let her relax close to her people. This beautiful girl has already been through so much, yet she remains trusting, loving, and eager to be with people. She spent her time as a stray simply trying to survive and then devoted herself to raising her puppies. Now she deserves to be cared for, cherished, and loved.
