Meet Kennedy

Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Kennedy! Kennedy spent 96 days in a shelter waiting for someone to choose him. Despite arriving as a stray with no collar, microchip, or family who came looking, this affectionate, happy boy never lost his spirit. Now in a foster home, Kennedy is proving he’s the total package! He is potty trained with zero accidents, sleeps quietly in his crate, and walks beautifully on leash without pulling. He remains calm when passing other dogs and enjoys walking with canine buddies, though slow introductions are always best. Kennedy loves people and recently relaxed outside at Yogurtland while the world passed by, making him a great candidate for coffee shops, patios, and other dog-friendly adventures. He gets short bursts of energy in the morning and evening, but 15 minutes of his favorite activity—fetch—is usually enough to earn an all-day nap. Give this boy a tennis ball and he’s thrilled! Kennedy knows “sit,” is nearly there with “stay,” takes treats gently, and is easy to train because he’s motivated by food and tennis balls. His only work in progress is containing his excitement. He can be jumpy when greeting people and hasn’t quite mastered personal space, so he may accidentally knock over very young children.
