Meet Kippie

Hi hi hi, I’m Kippie, I’m a 1 year old, 53lb handsome boy looking for my forever family! I’m listed as a Cattle Dog, but my foster mom thinks I might have some Labrador or Black Mouth Cur mixed in too. Whatever I am, I know I’m 100% sweet, I have no idea what stranger danger is! I absolutely LOVE everyone big people, little people, and dogs of all sizes! I’m a social guy and always ready to make a new friend. I do love to play, though, and sometimes my excitement can be a little much for smaller kiddos or dogs who aren’t quite as playful as me. I’m still learning to keep all my enthusiasm under control! I’m also a SUPER smart boy. I pick up on new things really quickly, especially when treats are involved. I already know sit, lay down, shake, and bang, and I’m always ready to learn more! I’m crate trained (I might cry for a little bit when you first leave me, but I settle down!), potty trained, and I know how to use a doggy door like a pro. When it comes to fun, I’m not picky at all! Squeaky toys? YES. Chew toys? YES. Balls? YES. Tug rope? ABSOLUTELY. Going on an adventure? COUNT ME IN! I love going on walks, although I’m still learning my leash manners and could use a little help in that department. I can also be a little play-mouthy when I get excited, so my forever family will need to keep helping me learn my manners. I promise I’m a very willing student when treats are involved! And after all that playing and adventuring, I’m always ready for the most important part… CUDDLES! I’m looking for someone who will love me, keep teaching me, take me on adventures, and let me be their best friend forever. I have SO much love to give and I can’t wait to find my people!
