Meet Kirby, a striking 10-month-old Basenji mix whose handsome brindle and white coat, soulful brown eyes, and happy personality are sure to steal your heart. At 45 pounds, Kirby is a wonderful medium size with just a little growing left to do but will remain a medium sized dog which ranges from 30 to 60 pounds. He has not yet had the opportunity to meet cats since coming into rescue, so his compatibility with feline friends is currently unknown. Like any young dog, Kirby is still learning all the skills he needs to become the very best companion. He is working on crate training, house training, and walking politely on a leash. He is a smart, eager pup who responds well to positive guidance and will continue to thrive with patience, consistency, and plenty of praise.
