Meet Knox At 3 years old and 92 pounds, Knox is what we lovingly call a gentle giant. This handsome Black Lab/Border Collie mix has a heart every bit as big as he is, and all he wants is a place to call home. Knox is one of those dogs who truly shines when he's outside. Give him a yard to explore, a walking buddy, or some one-on-one time with his favorite people, and you'll see his whole face light up. While shelter life is hard on him, he never misses a chance to enjoy a walk, stretch his legs, or soak up affection from staff and volunteers. This beautiful boy came to us as an owner surrender and would do best as the only dog in the home or with a family experienced in managing introductions and dog relationships. The good news? Knox has so much love, loyalty, and companionship to give that he may be all the dog you'll ever need. He's incredibly smart, eager to bond with his people, and has the kind of soulful eyes that seem to look right into your heart. Knox isn't just looking for a home—he's looking for his person. Someone who will appreciate his intelligence, enjoy an active lifestyle with him, and give him the space to be the amazing dog he was meant to be.
