Meet Koda

Koda (A143068503) is a 10-month-old Lab mix who weighed 44.1 pounds on intake! 09/10/26 This active boy is Koda! Koda was surrendered to the shelter, because his owner found his energy level a bit too much to handle. He is looking for a home that can provide him with plenty of mental and physical stimulation as he continues to mature! His owner did state that Koda has not had much in the form of training and would benefit from attending a basic obedience class to continue working on his manners. He does like to jump up on people, counters, and will get into the trash if left unsupervised. Koda does know the command sit and was said to be kennel trained, but is still working on potty training. He was described as excitable around other dogs and children. Strangers can be a bit intimidating, and he may bark initially until he gets to know them. It is important that appropriate introductions be made to help set him up for success.
