Meet Kootenay

Woof! My name is Kootenay but my foster mom calls me Koot and my foster dad calls me Crash Van Koot, but I answer to almost anything because I want to be near you! I am a big boy and love in big ways too! I want to be on the couch with you, in bed with you, and anywhere you are! I am a silly boy that loves giving kisses and I want my own forever home! Let me tell you about myself. I love being with other dogs and would need a doggy friend in my new home. I am not sure about cats so probably would be best without them in my new home. I love to play, chase, and wrestle with other dogs. I also just found out that I love water! My foster parents put out a doggy pool and I jumped right in and will lay there in the water! I am fully potty trained, I have done great meeting other people, and I even like older, respectful kids! I am left out to roam when my family leaves and I do not destroy or damage anything. I do not like to be left in a kennel due to past trauma, but I will go in one to eat my food. I am learning how to get in and out of the car but once I am in, I ride well in the car! I of course like toys, dog bones, and treats but I really want to meet you! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
