Meet Lemon (Limoncello)

Lemon is a very sweet Hound mix. She survived all odds with her sisters after being turned out on their own in rural Kentucky when they were only about 6 months old. They were seen repeatedly by many in the area, and were in survival mode for almost a year. They were eventually picked up and brought to a little outdoor kennel, in the area, where lovely advocates aware of their plight, put out a plea for them to be rescued. Boy are we glad we swooped Lemon (and her sisters, Peach and Mango), up! They are truly delightful dogs. Lemon has the sweetest disposition. She is a good sport and goes along with the "gang" so to speak. She has a playful side and would love another dog to play with, or she could be fine on her own too. She modifies herself if other dogs are not enthusiastic with her. She learns quickly and just has a savviness about her. Lemon likes to follow the other dogs at the dog park and does what they do (she's a good follower). Lemon has lived with dogs and a cat and is great with all. She would be super sweet with kids! Her temperament is amazing. Lemon is a very good girl. Lemon add a zest, a brightness, a cheer to your life! Truly! Lemon is good with dogs, cats and kids. Lemon's best life would be a home with another fun dog, and of course any young dog appreciates adventure; walks, dog park, road trips perhaps!
