Lennox is a 1-year-old, 14-pound Terrier mix who is a little on the shy side, but this sweet boy has already made great progress coming out of his shell! Lennox is learning that the world isn't such a scary place, and he has been doing wonderfully as his confidence grows. However, when his environment changes or new people show up, he can retreat back into his shell. He just needs a little time to process new situations and realize that he's safe. Lennox is looking for a special family who will be patient with him and help him build his self-esteem and confidence. With time, encouragement, and plenty of positive experiences, we know he can continue to blossom into the happy, confident dog he wants to be. A confident, friendly dog would be a wonderful addition to Lennox's new family. Having a canine buddy to show him the ropes could help him feel more secure and teach him that new experiences can actually be pretty fun! Lennox may need a little extra time to trust, but once he does, you'll have the incredibly rewarding experience of watching this sweet boy discover his confidence. ❤️ Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $150. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232.
