Meet Lillie

Meet Lillie! Also known as Lillie Bird, Bird Dog, and Lillian! Lillie is a playful pup with a big personality and lots of puppy energy! She is an adorable Great Pyrenees/Blue Heeler mix. She’s your typical puppy — curious, busy, and sometimes blessed with a little selective hearing. She loves to chew on just about anything she can get her mouth on, especially things that belong to her mom! Keeping plenty of toys nearby is a must! Lillie loves spending time outside, chewing on her favorite Benebones, and playing with the resident dog. She’s a fun-loving girl who enjoys keeping busy and exploring her surroundings. Lillie does great with other dogs, but she doesn’t necessarily need another dog in her future home to be happy. She’s also great with cats! She appears to have a pretty low prey drive — unless a grasshopper crosses her path! Lillie can be wary of visitors in the home and may bark protectively when new people arrive. She needs time to warm up to unfamiliar people, so a patient family willing to help build her confidence will be important. Lillie is also very protective of her food when eating in her kennel. Her future family will need to provide a separate, safe feeding space away from other pets and continue working with her through positive, reward-based training. A secure 6-foot fence is likely recommended to help keep this energetic jumper safe. Due to her barking when visitors arrive, Lillie is not suited for apartment living. Lillie is kennel trained but not yet house trained. Lillie would do best with a patient, committed family that understands the needs of a growing puppy. She’ll need continued training, structure, and guidance as she learns to navigate the world. With the right environment, consistency, and plenty of love, Lillie will grow into a wonderful companion! Could Lillie be the perfect addition to your family? The suggested adoption fee for Lillie is $465. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated.
