Meet Lisa

Meet Lisa! Looking for a sweet little companion with a wagging tail and a heart full of love? Meet Lisa, a 3-year-old Yorkie mix (possibly with some Shih Tzu) who weighs just 8 pounds and is ready to begin the next chapter of her life. Lisa is a recent breeder release who has quickly embraced the comforts of home life and is eager to find a family of her very own. Lisa is truly a happy little dog. Her tail is almost always wagging, and she loves receiving attention from her foster mom. She has a gentle, affectionate personality and enjoys being close to her people. While she is still learning about the world outside of a breeding environment, she approaches new experiences with curiosity and a positive attitude. She gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion in her forever home. Having another friendly dog around could help continue building her confidence as she learns what it means to be a beloved family pet. Since everything is still somewhat new to her, Lisa is making great progress every day. She has learned to navigate stairs and enjoys spending time outside. House training remains a work in progress, but she is improving steadily and uses pee pads reliably in her foster home. Patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement will help her continue to succeed. Lisa currently has access to a fully fenced yard, as leash walking is still a skill she is learning. One thing that is certain about Lisa is how incredibly sweet she is. She has become a favorite in her foster home thanks to her loving nature and easygoing temperament. She enjoys cozy beds, soft blankets, treats, and simply being near her people. She also rides well in the car and is comfortable in a crate. Lisa is respectful of cats, showing very little interest in them, and we believe she would do well with older, gentle children who understand that she is still building confidence. She has recently been professionally groomed and looks absolutely adorable. As a Yorkie mix, she will require regular professional grooming throughout her life, so potential adopters should be prepared for that commitment. When her foster mom is home, Lisa enjoys being part of the household activities. When left alone, she is comfortably gated in her own space where she has her bed, toys, and favorite chewies. She settles in nicely and continues to show what a wonderful companion she will make. Lisa is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and even received a mini dental at the time of her spay. Her adoption fee is $550 If you're looking for a gentle, loving little dog who is ready to leave her past behind and discover how wonderful life can be, Lisa may be the perfect addition to your family. To help keep our dogs safe, we require a martingale collar at the time of adoption. If you don't already have one, Pixie Mamas has them available for $10.
