Meet Little Man

Little Man is believed to be a Black Mouth Cur/German Shepherd mix born about January, 2025. He is very attached to his foster family. He prefers to sleep on their bed or on a dog bed right beside them. Black Mouth Curs are believed to be the inspiration behind “Old Yeller”. Little Man gets along with all other dogs, cats and is safe with children. He is leash trained and house trained, a very good dog. Interestingly, he was a stray in a neighborhood, but unlike some strays, was liked and cared for by people. They left out food and water for him, and he never did anything wrong—no digging, chewing, barking, or other disruptive behavior. Our rescue took him in to find him a home because we were concerned about him getting hit by a car on the busy road. Also, because this sweet boy needs a warm place to sleep in the winter, and people of his own to fully bond with. Little Man is neutered and has been brought up to date on all vaccines and health care. Adopt your own piece of the Old South and see how intelligent, people-oriented and loving this mix can be. $50. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application.
