Meet Lola

Meet Lola, the professional shadow! Lola is a petite 2 year old Chug, a Chihuahua and Pug mix, who weighs just 13 pounds. Her foster family thinks Shadow might have been a more appropriate name because wherever her people go, Lola is usually right behind them. She loves attention and cuddles and is happiest when she can be close to her favorite humans. If you happen to stop petting her before she believes the cuddle session is over, she may gently reach out with her front paws to remind you that your job is not quite finished. Lola is a calm, relaxed girl who would choose snuggling with her person over a pile of toys any day. When she is not following her humans around, you can usually find her relaxing in her crate, sunbathing outside, or sleeping near her two foster sisters, a Pit Bull and a Lab who each weigh around 60 pounds. Their size does not bother Lola one bit, and she seems perfectly comfortable being one of the big girls. She especially enjoys spending time outside soaking up the sunshine and fresh air. Lola also takes mealtime very seriously. Breakfast and dinner are highlights of her day, and treats are a great way to get her undivided attention. Her love of food can also be helpful when it comes to training and learning new things. Lola is an affectionate little companion who does not need constant excitement to be happy. Give her a cozy place to relax, some sunshine, good food, and most importantly, a person to follow and cuddle with, and Lola will feel right at home.
