Lucy May--AVAILABLE 9/12/2026 Meet Lucy May! Lucy May is a 1-year-old mixed breed with the cutest combination of big blue eyes, a scruffy coat, and a personality that will steal your heart! We think she may have some Lab and Terrier in her mix, but whatever she is, she’s 100% adorable. Lucy May is a sweet, loving, and happy girl who loves being with her people. Lucy has enjoyed the company of grandchildren of different ages. She absolutely enjoys going for walks and hikes and would love an active family who will include her in their adventures. She plays wonderfully with other dogs and has plenty of youthful energy for a good romp and play session. She is housetrained and crate trained and has done well when crated for shorter periods; although, so far she has only spent about three hours at a time in her crate. May not do well, crated for LONG PERIODS. She doesn't appear to be destructive if she has been exercised. Her foster family has noticed that Lucy May occasionally likes to check out what’s happening on the kitchen counter, but they’re working on reminding her that countertops are off-limits. No food aggression has been observed, and Lucy May is simply a fun, affectionate girl who loves life and loves her people. Lucy May would be happiest with an active owner or family who has time to give her plenty of exercise, attention, and fun—and ideally, a safe place where she can run and stretch those four happy legs!
