Meet Luka

Hi! I’m Luka and I have one true love in this world… BALLS . I mean really love them. Obsessed. All-in. If there’s a ball around, I’m happy, focused, and ready to play — I’m truly a ball dog through and through! I have been tested with dogs and I just kind of ignore them because I like to play with balls more! During my short daily walks at the shelter, all I want to do is play. Throw the ball, watch me light up, and I’ll fetch happily for as long as you let me! Playtime is my joy, and it’s how I burn off all my happy energy. I’m not meant to spend my days sitting in a kennel — I’m meant to be with my person, sharing laughs, ball time, and adventures together. I’m almost a year and a half old and I weigh 63 lbs, and I’m currently waiting at the Carlsbad shelter for a foster or forever home to call my own. If you’ve got an arm to throw a ball and a heart with room for me… I think we’d be perfect together..
