Meet Luna

I'm currently on a sleepover and not at the adoption center. If you are interested in meeting me, I'll be back on 9/25. Hi there- I'm Luna! I'm a one year old, spayed female, 62 lbs., Catahoula mix dog who looking for my new pack! I am seeking folks who will assist me in navigating this wide world. I may see a bit aloof when first meeting, but if we play ball I will be your friend quickly. I can be timid but I have a heart of gold and I'm waiting for the right family to give all my love to. I would do best with folks who have had large breed dogs like me! I would love to meet the entire household, including any resident dogs before going home. Come on down and hear all about me! If it's a good fit, let's meet! Ask for me- Luna ID#A0981065. I recently went on a hike with a PHS Volunteer! Here's how I did: I took Luna on the hike today - she was absolutely wonderful! She was happy to get in my car and go for a ride! She was super calm and sat in the backseat on the way over to Coyote Point. Luna was super calm the entire time we were waiting to get the hike started. She was so very easy to walk. She stayed by my side the entire time with no pulling of any kind. She was great with the other dogs and had no reaction to any bikers and runners passing by. She had a blast on the beach and actually ran into the surf with one of our volunteers! She loved her time in the water. She was truly a delight to spend time with - lovable girl!
