Meet LUNA, You must fill out an application on OUR website to be considered. myofbrescue.rescuegroups.org Be sure to call your vet to release your history to us or we can not process your application THANKS Text us to be sure we received your application 740-472-9828 LUNA 2yr old female dachshund Spayed/shots/microchip Adoption fee $650.00 (we still have a huge veterinary bill) We received LUNA after a call from her previous owner, saying she was attacked by another dog. We're pretty sure she was hit by a car instead. Her back leg was mangled, her pelvis was cracked, she had several scuff marks all over. We don't know how long she was injured before we got her, but, the infection was very severe. She spent 3 days on IV antibiotics, before the would remove her leg, then was hospitalized for 2 more days on a pain patch & antibiotics afterwards. She was also spayed at the same time. So it's been a couple weeks, she has healed incredibly well. She is a WONDERFUL girl, very loving & devoted. Follows me everywhere, listens, loves car rides. She's pretty calm & chilled, enjoys just hanging out with her person, watching TV or porch sitting. Walks great on a leash and harness. We're looking for a quiet, safe home, where she won't be stepped on, she really can't do many stairs (a couple is fine) no small kids picking her up, carrying her around. We need a very attentive home to watch out that she doesn't do anything to mess with her amazing recovery.
