Luna is a 5-year-old Pit Bull mix in the shelter`s Shy Dog Program, whereshe is learning that the world can be a kind and gentle place. She may notbe the loudest dog in the room, but her sweet personality shines in all thelittle ways. Luna is a very sweet girl who loves attention and petting in her own quiet,low-key way. Once she feels comfortable, she may even surprise you with afew gentle kisses to let you know she trusts you. Luna was surrendered due to landlord issues, but it appears she has had adifficult past. Her many scars, especially on her face, tell a story of whatshe has overcome-but they don`t define who she is. Luna is learning to trustand would love someone willing to be part of her success story. Luna is still building confidence and working on her leash skills. She doespull hard on leash, but a harness helps some. She takes treats gently and isready to continue learning with patience, kindness, and encouragement.
