Meet Luna

09/23/26 10:57 Luna is back in shelter - this sweet girl is obese, and has chronic skin allergies. Shelter environment is challenging for weight loss. She is on overweight management diet, and needs urgent rescue who can help her lose weight, and can provide monthly high-quality flea preventative. She will likely need cytopoint once monthly or similar medical management for her itch and allergies. She may also need maintenance ear flushing/cleaning to prevent ear infections (likely to have an underlying allergic component).11/06/21 15:13 *She seems awesome with kids!! She was very loving and patient with a 5yr old girl that she met (and went up to willingly in the lobby). The little girl was very frontal with Snow with head pets. Snow was very very gentle and calm. She seemed to enjoy the pets from the child. I should also note that the child was gentle and was taking direction very well from her parents. *Seems interested in cats but not aggrerssive or fixated on the cats. Seems more curious. *She is non reactive in the play yard with other dogs (large and small. Even if they are very vocal with her. *Very interested in whichever lucky human she is with. Seeks cuddles/affection and attention from you! *Walks well on leash. Does not pull and with the right snacks, seems treat motivated.
