From Alone-at-the-Dollar General to Family Member – Meet Lyle! Found in the parking lot of a busy local retail center, Lyle comes to us as a stray after his finder determined he was all alone. Concerned for his safety, she brought him to us to help reunite him with his family, but with no chip, no ID tag and no one coming to claim him, that sadly didn’t happen. Now, this adorable pointer is looking for a new and forever family, who will never let him wander alone again! Since he has been with us, he met a similar sized spayed female and did great! Although he seemed more interested in sniffing and going potty, he was very polite to his new friend and didn’t totally ignore her! Every little bit, they would have a nose-to-nose sniffaroo session and did great! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children before adoption to ensure a great fit for all! We have no information how he does with cats and have no way to test for such. Please come and meet this sweet boy in person to see if he was meant to be your shopping buddy for life! We are a first come, first served and in person adoption center with no ability to hold an animal for a potential adopter. Make sure forever is a promise you can keep BEFORE you adopt! And remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet! 3 days for your new pet to decompress3 weeks for your new family member to settle in3 months for them to build trustWe are located at 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville, NC and are open Monday-Friday 12-5pm and Saturdays 11am-2pm. Lyle’s adoption fee is $80 All of our adoptable dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate vaccines/preventatives. Adopters will need to establish vet care upon adopting to maintain their new family member’s health and wellness. Please bring a collar and leash OR purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely take your new family member home. We are located at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville, NC.
