Birthdate: 03/01/2026Breed: One of a kindWeight: Still growing! Lyra Named after the constellation, Lyra is a bright, affectionate puppy with a heart full of love. She enjoys being close to her people, handing out puppy kisses, and making friends wherever she goes. When she's not cuddling, you'll find her running through the yard, playing with her favorite toys, or splashing in the water—one of her favorite ways to have fun. Lyra is a happy, gentle girl who is ready to bring love, laughter, and adventure to her forever home. The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
