When she’s truly happy and comfortable, Mabel’s whole body wiggles with joy, and her beautiful smile lights up her face in a way that says, “Thank you for loving me.” Mabel’s story is bittersweet—she came to us in January 2023 after losing her previous owner. While her friends have all found their forever families, Mabel has waited patiently, hoping for someone who will see her gentle heart and offer her the love and security she so deeply deserves. She has had kind experiences with other dogs and might enjoy a calm canine companion, but just as much, she longs to be your devoted, quiet shadow—the one who stays close and loves fiercely, even in the simplest moments.
