This puppy is one of 32 we rescued from Louisiana, where animal welfare protections are almost nonexistent. Puppies there are often born into neglect — chainedup mother dogs, dirt yards, no food, no vet care, and no one looking out for them. This sweet girl is truly the best puppy — calm, gentle, and wonderfully laid back. She does have mildly frontbowed legs, which may come from a bit of bulldog influence or simply her growth stage. Our vet believes they may straighten as she grows and stays on a proper diet. She runs, plays, wrestles, and explores just like any other puppy. Puppy will be up to date on vaccinations and microchipped before adoption. Puppy will not be spayed/neutered. Adopter will sign a spay/neuter agreement and may qualify for a $100 spay/neuter Rebate. See application for details. A $40 refundable deposit is required once your application is approved to hold this dog or schedule a meetandgreet. This helps us respect the time and commitment of our foster families and volunteers. The deposit is applied to the adoption fee or fully refunded if you attend your appointment and decide not to adopt.
