This adorable 1-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever mix is sure to steal your heart! Mario was found as a stray, but despite having been bounced around between different people, he remains a happy-go-lucky boy at heart. Because of his past, Mario can be a little shy when meeting new people, so he would do best in a home with older children who can give him time to settle in. Once he warms up and feels safe, his playful side shines through! Dog-Friendly: Per his previous shelter, Mario is good with other dogs! (He’s done fine around other dogs in our care, though we haven’t done direct introductions yet.) Leash Manners: Still learning, so he’ll need a little patient leash training.
