Meet Marley

Sweet Marley is fluffy, loving, and absolutely adorable. If you ask us, he looks like a flat coated retriever, though some of his siblings do not! (1 of 7 pups) Marley’s foster says, “ Marley- happy go lucky He loves food, and people. He is a little shy at first, but very cuddly and always ready to meet people. He likes to play ball but doesn’t know how to bring it back quite yet. He’s been working on his “come” command and his “sit” command! His leg may be a little out of service at the moment, but he pushes through life with optimism and is so ready to meet his people Marley needs more than a family. He needs someone willing to help him get the care he deserves. We noticed something was wrong with his front leg while he was in the shelter in Puerto Rico, so we couldn't leave him behind. Marley is another active boy who loves being part of the action. He’s currently awaiting an orthopedic consultation for his dislocated ankle so we can determine the best way to help him move comfortably and enjoy his best life. He is currently on pain management and staying happily active. We could have left him in the shelter, where so many black dogs wait and wait for someone to notice them. Instead, we brought him to Virginia because he deserves a chance to get the care he needs and discover what life outside a shelter can be. This sweet boy has so much love to give. Now we're going to give him the chance to heal.
