Meet Martha

Hello friends, my name is Martha — a 2-year-old brindle-and-white Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier lady weighing in at a graceful 58 lbs. 💁‍♀️🐾 I may have had a tough start after being abandoned, but I’ve held onto my big heart and my love for people. I’m an affectionate girl who adores running, playing, and—most of all—snuggling. Truly, I’m a world-class snuggle bug. 🥰 I know how to sit, I walk nicely on a leash, and I’m fully housebroken and crate trained. I do get a bit excited sometimes and might pull on the leash or hop up to say hello, but I promise I’m a wonderful listener and eager to learn, so with a little guidance, I’ll have perfect manners in no time. ✨ I also really love to be around my people, and I can be determined to get back to you, I'll even get out of a fence if i'm left alone. I also want to mention that I am heartworm positive, but don’t worry — it’s easily treatable, and I have completed the medication I need to get healthy again, and will just need to be retested in 6 months to hopefully test negative!💊💕I get along beautifully with other dogs, and I absolutely love to dress up. In fact, I even had my photo taken with Santa when he visited the shelter! 🎅📸 Yes… I do enjoy being fabulous.
