Marty is a total sweetheart who may be a little shy, but don't let that fool you—this smart boy has been learning so much in such a short time! Marty is very treat motivated and eager to please, which makes him a wonderful student. He already knows “sit” and “come” and is working hard on “down.” Toys haven't caught his attention yet, but honestly, with all the new sights, sounds, and experiences he's taking in, we think he's got plenty on his mind! Marty isn't looking for someone to rush him. He needs a patient person who will let him experience the world at his own pace and celebrate those little moments when his confidence grows. Give him time, encouragement, and some tasty treats, and you'll get to watch this sweet boy discover just how wonderful life can be. Marty may be shy today, but he's already showing us there's a clever, loving, eager-to-please dog waiting to blossom. Marty has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. He's also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
