Meet Mary

Hi, I’m Mary! I’m a 6-year-old Queensland Heeler/Cattle Dog mix weighing 37 lbs, and after raising my Project Hail Mary puppies, I’m ready for a mission of my own: finding a furever family! I spent my entire life with one owner before coming to ATR, so this has been a big adjustment for me. I’m a smart, curious, and loving girl who forms strong bonds with my people. I love playing fetch, learning new things, solving treat puzzles, and then curling up for cuddles when the day is done. I’m looking for an active home that understands herding breeds and can provide me with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and structure. I can be vocal when I’m excited, unsure, or trying to tell you something, so a home with a yard is ideal. I can be wary of strangers, especially men, and I’m selective about my dog friends, preferring dogs who are respectful of boundaries and communicate well. Because of my energy level and herding instincts, I’m looking for a home with kids 12 and older.
