Meet Maureen

Meet Maureen! This sweet girl came from a hoarding case and was adopted once and returned with no fault of her own. She’s 1 year and 4 months old with a very big personality. She’s 16 lbs and we think she is part whippet and terrier of some kind. Her vet notes state that she has separation anxiety which is true, she whines/crys when she is left alone in her crate. We are still working on being fully potty trained (as we have had a few accidents). She is extremely good with kids and other dogs. She has 2 furry friends now and would really enjoy to have a friend in her forever home. She has a lot of energy and would do best with someone with an active lifestyle. Her current foster parents work opposite shifts so someone is always home with her. When she gets very excited she does nip as she thinks she is playing (we are working on that). In her free time she enjoys chewing all the stuffing out of her stuffies, chewing on some bones and playing chase with her foster siblings in the back yard. She also enjoys a daily walk and when her foster humans plays fetch with her. She walks well on a leash and knows some basic commands. She would do best with a family who will be able to keep up with her active lifestyle and give her all the cuddles she deserves. Maureen is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm medications.
