Meet Max

We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. We DO NOT have a physical shelter. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it. MAXIMUM CUTENESS. MAXIMUM SNUGGLES. MAXIMUM MAX. Meet Max, a 5-year-old dachshund who has decided that wherever you are is exactly where he needs to be. Max is deaf, but he’s learning hand signals and proving that he doesn’t need to hear you to know you’re his person. He’ll follow you everywhere, snuggle beside you for TV time, and strongly believes the bed is where dachshunds belong. He’s also a BALL-RETRIEVING PROFESSIONAL. Throw it. He’ll get it. He’ll bring it back. Throw it again. Congratulations, you now have a personal ball boy. Max loves walks, is doing great with his house training, and is working hard on his nighttime kennel skills. He’s sweet, devoted, cuddly, and just wants to be part of the action. His one non-negotiable? A fenced yard is required. If your idea of a perfect companion is a little sausage who wants to follow you, snuggle you, play ball with you, and basically supervise your entire existence… Max would like to discuss his résumé.
