Meet Max! This handsome three-year-old is 52 pounds of good looks, personality and ready-for-anything energy. With his classic black-and-white coat, expressive face and those wonderfully mismatched ears, Max has a look all his own. At three years old, Max is right in that sweet spot—young enough to be up for walks, playtime and adventures, but past the puppy stage. He'd love to find someone who will make him part of the action and give him all the love and attention a good boy deserves. Max has been waiting at the Humane Society of Missouri's Maryland Heights shelter since August 6. He's ready to put shelter life behind him and start his next chapter.
