A DELIGHTFUL FRIEND: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 28 lbs. Hi, I’m Megan! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself in need of a new home and family to love. I’m so grateful that Mostly Mutts was able to take me in and I am happy to be soaking up all the love from the volunteers. I got to spend several days in two different temporary foster homes and had a good time. Now I'm ready to find a wonderful home of my own! Perhaps with you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and was a tad timid. I liked most of the dogs I met while in my temp. foster home, though I growled at others, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown. / I met kids at Mostly Mutts, and did not care for the younger ones, though I seemed alright with older kids, especially the nice 13-year-old grandson I met in one temp. foster home, so if you have kids 15+ years old, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a sweet, friendly, calm-natured girl with a happy personality and just a touch of shyness. I can take a little time to feel comfortable with new people and had one visitor in a temp. foster home that made me uneasy, so I responded with barking and showed my teeth. I did wonderfully with the other people I met, so please be patient with new introductions and give me time to adjust in my new home. Mostly Mutts trainers will be happy to show you how to make introductions, so just ask about that. The volunteers describe me as a delightful companion and such a sweet girl who has quickly won their hearts. I was calm and cooperative for my bath and ear cleaning, and I was fun and friendly during my photo shoot, too. I had fun on a daytrip with a volunteer, enjoying a pup cup, smelling all the smells at Home Depot and PetSmart . . . until that accusation of pig ear theft lol. I also enjoy sitting back and people-watching with the volunteers. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a wonderful personality, I just might be your girl! / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’, ‘drop it’ and ‘place commands. I also use proper door etiquette and know how to walk well on a leash. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts and in my temp. foster homes. / My potty manners have been good with very few accidents on the shelter schedule, and I did well in my temp. foster homes, even picking a nice dirt spot on the side of the yard to go #2. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy spending time with people, going for walks, and hanging out with the nice volunteers, I also enjoy cuddling with people, soft blankets to curl up in, playing and treats. I’m sure that once I’m settled into my new home, we’ll discover many more things we’ll love doing together! / Other than being a little nervous of cars when walking and loud noises, I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I’m a sweetie looking for a wonderful forever family that will treasure me! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
