Meet Meredith

Meredith is an 80-ish-pound bundle of calm, sweet, “aw shucks” charm! This beautiful 3-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix is the kind of girl who makes every day feel a little softer. She greets staff and volunteers with the happiest gentle tail wags and the sweetest little head sway, like she cannot quite believe you came all this way to see her. Meredith has nice manners and carries herself like a true lady. She would be thrilled to spend her days taking strolls, tagging along on fun hikes, and then settling in nearby while you go about your day. More than anything, she seems to be looking for her person—someone to share adventures, quiet moments, and plenty of companionship with. She arrived at the shelter with another dog, so she may enjoy having a canine buddy in her next home. If you already have a dog, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet to help everyone get acquainted. If you have room in your heart—and on your couch—for a big, gentle, wonderfully well-behaved girl, Meredith may be waiting just for you.
