Meet Midnight

Meet Midnight!** Midnight is a 5-year-old Cane Corso–Pit Bull mix who is discovering that life can be pretty wonderful when you have a tennis ball, a little patience, and someone you trust. This beautiful girl is happiest when she’s playing fetch. Toss a tennis ball and Midnight is ready to run, chase, retrieve, and bring it right back for another round! Her love of toys is a wonderful way to keep her active, engaged, and learning. Midnight has made great progress during her time at the shelter. She has become more confident getting around the facility and is especially affectionate with people she knows. She enjoys pets, makes eye contact, and has learned that spending time with her people can be just as rewarding as a good game of fetch. She’s also been working on her leash skills and learning to focus on her handler. Her ball drive makes training fun, and she’s already showing us how much she enjoys having a job to do. Midnight may be a big, strong girl, but underneath that athletic exterior is a dog who is learning to trust, connect, and enjoy the world around her. Give her a tennis ball, some patience, and a chance to know you, and you may just become her favorite person.
