Meet Milly Scout
Meet Milly! Milly is a 2-year-old, 11-pound Dachshund mix. This sweet little girl is ready to leave her stray days behind and find a family who will show her just how wonderful life can be! Milly is a playful, affectionate, and intelligent girl who loves exploring the yard and checking out everything around her. She enjoys playtime but is also happy to settle down for some cuddle time with her people. She makes a wonderful lap dog and loves being close to those she trusts. Milly does well with other dogs and is wonderfully respectful about sharing her things - she is not toy or food aggressive. She is housetrained, crate trained, and leash trained, and she does well riding in the car. She is moderately active and enjoys having opportunities to explore and play. Milly can be a little skittish when she's unsure of a new situation, but underneath that cautious side is a sweet girl who is eager to please and wants to be loved. With patience and reassurance, she will reward her family with plenty of affection and companionship. She is friendly, even-tempered, gentle, and good with dogs and adults. Her calm, loving nature also makes her a wonderful potential companion for seniors. Milly has already had to navigate life on her own as a stray. Now she's looking for the part of her story she's been waiting for a loving family, a cozy home, and a forever place to call her own. Could that be with you?
